WEBMay 2, 2018 · Some cards for whatever reason come up a little funky, and will be in the system as "* 1234" instead of "**** 1234" There is no good way to look up receipts at Wal-Mart unless the customer has the right information. Wal-Mart is not up to date on the technology like, for example, literally every other major retail chain.
