As for charging them, you need a battery charger with balancing capabilities, along with an LCD display that shows how many milli-ampere hours it took to recharge the pack.

Feb 15, 2021 · So, using my new Venom Pro4 charger I went to do a storage charge on a small LiFe 6.6 v 1100mAH receiver battery. First did the Battery Meter function and one cell was at 3.34 and the other at 3.33. Then I set up for: LiFe, Storage, 6.6v and started the process. About 6 min. later the charger showed END and 5.57v.

Sep 18, 2012 · Okay so I said effit and decided to try my charger on the 3s LiFe battery. Whats odd was when I plugged the battery into the charger, it reads all the cells and I get 3.17/3.23/3.37 but then when i plug my charger into 12v DC, it drops and all the cells read 2.41/2.45/2.57.

Jan 6, 2023 · The standard we use is a LiFe 6.6V 850 mAh battery. I have been using a Venom and lately a BadAss 25C 850mah 2S LiFe Battery. I have been using a Tenergy TN267 1-4 Cells Li-Po/Li-Fe Balance Charger since 2018. But, I had two Venoms and one BadAss battery swell up while charging and don't trust the charger anymore.

The CC 10 Amp BEC is programmed to 6.6 volts DC, same voltage as a 5 cell Nih battery, taken right off of the Nih battery charger. This 10 amp uBEC is connected directly to the receiver's battery input.

Feb 17, 2011 · This charger cannot read LIFEPO4 battery voltages and suffers from the same issue you get trying to judge capacity with a volt meter. The only way to know capacity (as with all lipos to be safe as non-load rest voltage is not dependable) is to monitor the capacity and know what is used and what goes back in.
