With three specialty plugs, hp dropped 1.5-2hp. With the original plugs, now gapped at 063, hp increased to 186. Split Fire plugs achieved 184 hp but required 067 gaps.

Just basic inductive principles. With a richer mixture like most classics have a greater plug gap and voltage isn't as necessary because it is much easier to ignite a rich mixture.

The second ring gap should always be larger then the top ring gap in order to relieve pressure between the two rings.

If you decide the last set gap the second ring first they are much softer than the top ring so its easy to gap them more than neeeded if you start with the top ring.
