Jun 9, 2014 · The Vermont Flannel Company. They still do shrink some though, I just get a slightly larger size, and wash in warm or cold (NOT hot) water, dry on low. When they shrink they just get warmer! I agree though that cotton is not a good fabric for cold weather outings, it will never dry and its horrible when its damp.

Dec 29, 2011 · All of my chamois and flannel shirts have come from thrift stores, as well as most of my clothing, and I always need to get 2xl for shirts. It just requires patience, and if there you find one that fits you, keep looking, there may be more hidden among the other clothes.

Sep 6, 2019. #9. Carhart and LL Bean, I also have Cabela's flannels that arent to bad. Headed to LL Bean in Maine in a couple of weeks with some Bean coupons, I can smell new flannel in the air. I have amassed a large collection of flamnnel shirts over the years but I have been doing the sweat shirt thing as well.

Dec 31, 2012 · Flannel is a just style of fabric, made with softly spun yarn and a semi-loose weave. There's wool flannel AND cotton flannel, and combinations of wool/nylon, wool/poly, cotton/poly, etc. I've washed store-bought wool flannel down into a nice thick fabric that makes great mid weight shirts.
