Where to get good geocache containers
Jan 14, 2019 · You can get authentic Lock & Locks on Amazon.com (3 for $9), (2 for $6). Those are allunacceptable containers, in my (rather extensive) experience. They will be trash in a couple of years. If you are going to complain about others' choice of containers, it behooves you to use quality ones for your own caches.

Matchstick containers have a "base" to set the washer onto, unlike a bison tubes "collar" for an o-ring. Pressure (tightening the lid) makes the course plastic threads bite into the o-ring, causing it to eventually fail.

Then I covered the magnet with my cache label and a themed vinyl sticker, for extra magnet security. It sticks to the metal post behind an information sign, where it's out of view.

7.9k. Posted January 18, 2011. Not Chosen means the owner is stupid, and can't tell how big the container is. Other is supposed to mean the container is unusually large, or surprisingly tiny, but typically ends up meaning the same as Not Chosen.
