Nov 18, 2014 · - Prior to introduction of The Institute of Heraldry’s certification program many items were marked only with metal content marks (e.g. “Sterling”, “1/20 10K GF”) or bore no mark at all. Current regulations (AR 672-8) require use of the manufacturers’ “hallmark” (TIOH certification code) on Army items.

Mar 1, 2008 · Today I was going through some of the new posts and on several I came across questions regarding the N.S. Meyer hallmark. Particularly it was asked which hallmarks were used by N.S. Meyer on DIs / DUIs during World War II? Several members mentioned the one hallmark with the company name and the Meyer shield.

Lordship Industries hallmarks - U.S. Militaria Forum
May 9, 2012 · - The HLP-GI brooch hallmark are circa 1967 through the 1970's. The company changed it's name from "His Lordship Products Inc." to "Lordship Industries" in this timeframe. I don't know the exact date but I think around 1977 to early 1978. - The LI-GI brooch hallmark are circa early to late 1980's.
Navy Pilot Amico, Older Hallmark - U.S. Militaria Forum
Dec 27, 2024 · The placement of the Amico and sterling marks is typical for these wings, so if this Command Pilot wing is 3-1/16" in span I would say it is not a cast copy. I don't know if I have seen a clutch back example before with this style of hallmark, can you tell if the posts are original or if perhaps a pin and catch were removed and replaced?

They are currently in business and one of a few Military Insignia businesses still in operation. The hallmarks used are 3G and G23. Shown here are the two hallmarks on Parachute wings.

Feb 26, 2008 · The hallmark 2-S is the identity number for the manufacture Silverman Corporation, provenance, RI. This hallmark was used from 1954 through 1964. The hallmark 11-W is the identity number for the manufacture Western Military Supply Company, San Francisco, CA.
