The game is only played in a rectangle box (same as the room) and the movement of the game is only vertical along a lift. Sandbox VR - how close are we to having this at home?
Oct 23, 2022 · Sandbox VR allows team-based VR in a common room, and lets one wear the PC on the vest for full freedom. It also has sensors on arms and legs for more accurate tracking, as a side point. The experience clearly beats an existing PCVR setup.

Nov 3, 2022 · There are no 'controllers', like what you have with a commercial VR system. Depends on which Sandbox you go to. The one here in Vancouver had wireless headsets, while the one I did in San Fran was wired on ceiling pulleys. The wireless ones definitely have a bit more latency than the wired ones.

My wife got me a gift certificate to Sandbox VR, which is just this VR game place, where you can go with a group to play some games together.
