The Tulane men's basketball team got off to a hot start at preseason AAC favorite UAB on Tuesday night, but it was a case of too much Yaxel Lendenborg for the Blazers and too little offensive execution down the stretch for the Green Wave in a 12-point loss.

The UAB Blazers are now 2-1 in conference play and 9-7 overall after an 81-69 victory over the Tulane Green Wave led by an excellent performance from senior forward Yaxel Lendeborg.
