Ian Ward (Ray Wise) took the Newman family hostage at the ranch. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tried to talk him down, but Ian was determined to go out in a blaze of glory. He demanded that Victor call his children to the ranch and threatened to shoot Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) if he didn’t comply.

It looks like The Young and the Restless’ Ian will soon meet his end. However, will he leave quite the explosive parting gift behind?

Victor, Nicholas and Michael are at the Newman ranch when Ian enters with a gun. Nicholas demands Ian tell them where Aria and Tessa are that very minute. Ian insists he doesn’t have any information about their location.

On Thursday, January 30 episode of The Young and the Restless, Ian Ward is declared dead, but the shock comes when he suddenly wakes up in the ambulance.
