The Texas Rangers placed one outfielder on the injured list Friday afternoon. They could activate another Saturday. Right fielder Adolis García took live batting practice before Friday’s game vs. the Cleveland Guardians at Globe Life Field and is expected to be activated off the injured list Saturday.

The Cleveland Guardians were in control during their series opener against the Texas Rangers on Friday night. They took an earlier lead against Nathan Eovaldi, one of the best pitchers in baseball, and Slade Cecconi, looking solid after a couple of rough outings.

The Rangers are set to be without outfielder Evan Carter for the rest of the 2025 season thanks to a wrist injury.
