A running influencer from Texas has been disqualified from the New York City Marathon and banned from future New York City running events after he ran part of the course with people on e-bikes filming him.

Kaufman was the last place finisher in the event, but that hasn't deterred him from embracing that spot. In fact, he loves all the attention that comes with it even if it's a competition.

The 2024 TCS New York City Marathon kicked off on Staten Island on Sunday, with thousands of runners taking over the Big Apple. More than 50,000 runners participated in the race, according to New York Road Runners.
