A Metro Police officer shot and killed a resident who was involved in an altercation with a knife early this morning in a southeast Las Vegas Valley neighborhood, officials said.

An officer-involved shooting incident is under investigation after a traffic stop escalated when the suspect pulled a knife. According to Boise Police, an officer made a traffic stop just after 3 p.m.
