Florida football had eight players named to the 2025 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team ahead of the opening kickoff.
Eight Florida football players were selected to the preseason All-SEC coaches team, furthering the high expectations of the upcoming season.
Senior quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, junior linebacker Whit Weeks and senior return specialist Barion Brown were named to the first-team offense, defense and special teams, respectively, making LSU the only SEC team to have at least one first-team player on all three units.

On Wednesday, ESPN’s Field Yates put together his Round 1 mock draft for the 2026 event, and he included 11 SEC football standouts in the first 32 picks. That’s a lower number than we’ve seen the SEC produce in recent years, so we’ll see if more guys work their way into the Round 1 mix this fall.
