The Rockdale County Emergency Management Agency is telling all residents to stay in their homes from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. through the weekend. They say the shelter-in-place order will end at 7 a.m. on Monday.

It’s been almost a week since a fire at the BioLab facility in Rockdale County sent a plume of chemicals into the air, and residents said they’re still experiencing the effects. Just Friday, county officials extended a shelter-in-place order through the weekend.
