Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto shrugged off Mayank Yadav threat ahead of second T20I against India. Shanto said that their batters face Mayank-like pacers in the nets.

The Bangladesh captain's comments raised a few eyebrows among fans since the current Bangladesh T20I squad does not have an out-and-out fast bowler who can regularly hit more than 145+.

Yadav, who lit up IPL 2024 with his pace in the four matches he had played, was playing in his first competitive match after the injury in the T20 league.
