It was an emotional day Thursday at the Skating Club of Boston, as members mourned the loss of six members of the community in a plane crash near Washington, D.C.

Two teenage figure skaters, their mothers, and two former world champions who were coaching at a historic Boston club were among the 14 members of the skating community killed when an American Airlines flight collided with an Army helicopter Wednesday night and crashed into the frigid waters of the Potomac River.

"It's shocking to me," immigration lawyer Randy Feldman said. "It's unusual that federal immigration resources would be expended for a case like this."

A teenager from Lynn was taken into custody by immigration officials over a domestic disturbance. Kournikova, who stays mostly out of the spotlight, has been with singer Enrique Iglesias since 2001. Phyllis Fong,
