Dani Olmo's future at Barcelona remains in the balance as the Catalan club pursue their legal battle to get the midfielder registered to play once more.There is precedent -- in 2015 Arda Turan and Aleix Vidal joined Barcelona but were frozen out for six months because the Catalan club was serving a ban which prevented them from registering players.

Various opposition groups have called for Barcelona president Joan Laporta to resign following the fiasco over Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor's failed registrations.

Barcelona are planning to file a complaint to the Spanish government in their final attempt to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. That will come after both La Liga and RFEF (Spanish FA) have not acceded to change their stance and proceed to re-register both players.
