Art the Clown creator Damien Leone recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to offer some insight into the future of the Terrifier franchise. While nothing is set in stone, Leone hinted that the end might be closer than fans expect, suggesting that the story of the sadistically silent harlequin could wrap up in just one or two more films.

The actor was waiting tables when an audition for the role came up, but he had to fight his agent to put his hat in the ring: "This is such a low-budget independent film. You really don't need to do stuff like this.

"Terrifier 3" star David Howard Thornton has gnarly kills as horror villain Art the Clown. In real life, he's a sweet guy with an uplifting origin.

According to Damien Leone, Terrifier 4 will be an “epic close” to the Art the Clown saga – and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

With Terrifier 3‘s theatrical release on October 11, fans are once again on the edge of their seats. The film opens with a terrifying scene that brings Art the Clown back to life after his brutal defeat in the previous installment.
