Fortunately, that’s set to change soon thanks to a previously announced Verizon acquisition that will add 10 million new eligible Fios homes—here’s the latest update on the expansion.

Fios subscribers haven’t been exempt from this, with Verizon adding $6 to existing plans last June and then cutting a monthly autopay discount from $10 to $5 for people on older plans this January.

Call Verizon Fios support (1-800-837-4966) and ask them to activate the ethernet connection. They should do so at no extra charge.
