The National Film Preservation Board announced Thursday the 25 films joining the National Film Registry, which now has a total of 925 films.
The Thing,’ ‘Before Sunrise,’ ‘Frida,’ ‘Inception,’ ‘Philadelphia,’ ‘The Incredibles’ and ‘The Hours,’ while Ken Burns makes the list for the first time.
The Library of Congress has revealed 25 films it is adding to its National Film Registry, including The Karate Kid and Clueless.
These films, along with “White Christmas” and “Inception,” are among 25 selected by the Librarian of Congress this year.
As if they’d leave “Clueless” off the list. Amy Heckerling’s 1995 teen comedy is one of 25 classic movies chosen this year by the Library of Congress for its National Film Registry.
