The plane headed back to Nigeria after experiencing "unexpected movement" mid-flight on Friday, Jan. 24, according to multiple reports

The year 2024 was quite eventful for both United Airlines and Boeing, to say the least. Both companies faced several challenges, some of which were related to each other, but both ended the year quite differently.

Like rival Delta Air Lines, United Airlines' premium ticket sales are growing. But for the Chicago-based carrier, passengers at the back of the plane are also contributing to its bottom line.
