It took police more than a week to publicly identify 57-year-old Debrina Kawam as the woman who was fatally set on fire in a New York subway train on Dec. 22.

An Ocean County woman has been identified as the person who was burned to death on a New York City subway train Dec. 22 by a Guatamalan man accused of using a lighter to ignite her clothing, authorities said.
