All the Milwaukee Brewers players wore special tribute uniforms with “UECK” instead of their own names on the back of their jerseys for Sunday’s game.

After the celebration of life ceremony for legendary broadcaster Bob Uecker, the Milwaukee Brewers will take the field against the San Francisco Giants at American Family Field. The Brewers honored Uecker with a celebration of life tribute prior to the Brewers-Giants game Aug. 24. The ceremony was hosted by fellow Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Costas, who worked with Uecker on national NBC telecasts.
