The Texas Longhorns continue to dominate the Red River Rivalry on the hardwood, though their latest victory over the Oklahoma Sooners hardly came without thrills that head coach Rodney Terry would love to avoid.

Texas and Oklahoma thought they were leaving the toughest basketball league in the country, only to land right in the middle of this season's version.

But the Longhorns — specifically, guard Jordan Pope — refused to give up the lead. Pope, a 6-foot-2 junior who transferred to Texas from Oregon State in the offseason, scored 19 of his team-high 27 points in the second half.
