The Hawks-Rockets game is only one of three NBA games to be postponed Saturday. The Los Angeles Lakers-San Antonio Spurs bout, along with the Los Angeles Clippers-Charlotte Hornets game, have both been postponed as well due to the fires in the Los Angeles area.

The National Basketball Association game scheduled for this afternoon between the Houston Rockets and Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena has been postponed. The decision was made in consultation with local officials and to prioritize the safety of the players,

The Rockets’ game on Saturday vs. the Hawks was postponed “due to the severe weather and hazardous icy conditions in the Atlanta area," the NBA announced.
