New Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Jonnu Smith threw shade at his former team, the Miami Dolphins, for trading him.

On a recent episode of The Rich Eisen Show, insider Tom Pelissero explained that the Dolphins were almost forced into a player-for-player type trade scenario — as any trade partner would be more willing to take Ramsey's expensive contract if Miami took a high-salary player in return.

The Dolphins replaced Smith with Darren Waller on Tuesday, trading for the tight end with the New York Giants. Waller retired after the 2023 season after complaining about his usage, but is giving it another go in 2025.
