A spinoff of “The Neighborhood” starring Marcel Spears and Sheaun McKinney is in the works at CBS, Variety has confirmed. The multi-cam series, should it move forward, will follow their characters Marty and Malcolm Butler as they venture out of their parents’ home and migrate from Pasadena to Venice Beach.

The Neighborhood universe is eying further expansion with a second spinioff. The upcoming Season 7 finale of the hit CBS comedy series starring Cedric the Entertainer will serve as a planted spinoff headlined by Marcel Spears and Sheaun McKinney.
