The U.S. government has cautioned Israel that waging an all-out war with Hezbollah or Iran is not the right path to ensure the safe return of displaced residents to their homes in northern Israel. White House spokesperson John Kirby emphasized that a diplomatic approach is the better solution to avoid further escalation and secure lasting peace.
