After recently making his NBA debut, the Los Angeles Lakers’ Bronny James is playing in his first G League game Saturday to further his development.

For NBA rookie, and Lakers second-round pick Bronny James, playing with dad was short lived. After just five NBA games, the younger James has been sent down to the G League to work on his game, and develop into a respectable NBA player.

Los Angeles Lakers rookie guard Bronny James, the son of superstar LeBron James, has played in four games this season, including during Wednesday's loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. But now he will be moving to a new phase of his basketball career — a developmental phase.
