This third 28 Years Later movie would be the first Garland/Boyle/Murphy project since the original 28 Days Later, and quite possibly the final movie in the franchise. But if this is the last we see of an infected Britain, it sounds like a great way to go out.

28 Days Later is a film that takes place, you guessed it, 28 days after the outbreak of the ‘rage’ virus. Much like a classic zombie movie, the virus can be transmitted through blood and other bodily fluids, but unlike your classic zombie flick, those infected aren’t slow, stumbling shells of people.

Years Later 3 is officially going ahead, and this Samson theory about The Bone Temple would make it the darkest movie yet.
