The Michigan Department of Transportation will begin maintenance work on the Zilwaukee Bridge in Saginaw County in April.

Starting at 6 a.m. March 10, weight restrictions will be imposed on all state trucking highways in the state of Michigan.

From March 24 until April 26, contractors will replace a modular joint over Pier 34 and repair and repave the southbound lanes of the north viaduct. The southbound side of the bridge will be closed. One lane will be open in each direction on the northbound side of the bridge.
