Today’s Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct largely focused on updates to games that we’ll see in the next several months to early next year. However, the presentation ended with one big tease that’s farther out – a major feature coming to World of Warcraft’s next expansion that players have been asking about for years: player housing.

Blizzard just surprised us all by releasing remastered versions of the original Warcraft and its sequel. These versions offer multiple QoL improvements, hand-drawn graphics and more.

Blizzard has surprise-dropped remasters for Warcraft and Warcraft 2. We had some inclination that 1995's Warcraft 2 was getting a remaster when it leaked last week, but the reveal of Warcraft 1: Remastered is a total surprise.
