Dozens of MARTA bus drivers, friends, and family gathered Sunday outside the MARTA bus stop in Decatur to honor 47-year-old Leroy Ramos, who lost his life on Friday over a $2.50 fare.

MARTA employees are rallying around the family of bus driver Leroy Ramos who was shot and killed Friday night during a dispute over fare, according to police. Dozens of union workers showed up to the Decatur MARTA station Sunday night for a balloon release.

Current route assignments and pick-up/drop-off times will remain the same. The district says the change is in how the buses will drop off the youngest students.
