The Yankees avoided being swept by the Mets thanks to a miraculous double play in the seventh inning on Sunday.

Cody Bellinger started a pivotal double play and the Yankees stopped a six-game losing streak by beating the Mets 6-4 to avoid a weekend Subway Series sweep.

It didn’t look good, this series with the Yankees. They were battling injuries, pitching was scarce and they often had to use a hodgepodge of relievers to get through the game. Nevertheless, they won two of three.
