Nov. 9 (UPI) -- SpaceX launched 20 Starlink satellites into orbit late Friday from Vandenburg, Calif. The Falcon 9 rocket illuminated the sky as it lifted off at 10:14 p.m. PST from Launch Complex 4 at Vandenburg Space Fore Base.

Being part of the Group 10 Starlink, the launch will travel in a northeast trajectory. If conditions are clear, those north of the Brevard area could get a good view of the rocket as it travels upward. Even in the daylight hours, a rocket stands out in the sky.

At 3:19 p.m. on Thursday, October 7, the rocket lifted off from Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex 40, finally taking flight after Sunday and Wednesday scrubs. The rocket soared upward, turning to fly on a southeast trajectory. Thursday's liftoff time was adjusted to six minutes past the initially targeted launch time.

Already scrubbed twice, SpaceX will attempt once again to launch its Starlink 6-77 mission from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40. Liftoff is set for no earlier than 3:13 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

SpaceX managed on Thursday to get off a Starlink launch from Cape Canaveral after scrubbing the launch twice earlier in the week.
