Officials say a Russian drone has blasted a hole in an apartment building in northeastern Ukraine during a nighttime attack, killing at least four people and injuring nine others.

A Russian drone early on Thursday struck a multi-storey apartment building in the northeastern Ukrainian city of Sumy, killing at least four people and injuring no fewer than nine, including a child.

Russia launched at least 61 drones over Ukraine on the night of 24-25 January, whilst Ukrainian forces confirmed to have downed 46 them. View on euronews
