An investigation is underway after a 40-year-old woman died in police custody at the Brookline Police Department Saturday.  A Brookline police officer found the woman “breathing but unresponsive” around 2:30 p.

Authorities are investigating the death of a 40-year-old woman who passed away in police custody at the Brookline Police Station on Saturday, officials said.

One hour after a woman who was being held in police custody was found unresponsive, she was pronounced dead. Now, her death is under investigation.
