For the first time since the June 2024 in-custody death of Rolin Hill, body cam footage of the incident was shown during a bond hearing for the three former Virginia Beach deputies charged with second-degree murder.

A woman whose boyfriend was shot to death by police officers in the Little Village neighborhood last week is calling for answers. She called them for help, but when they arrived, police claimed the man lunged at officers with a knife.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office released body cam footage from a deadly deputy-involved shooting involving a woman threatening others with a knife. On Nov. 23, deputies said they were called to Kmart Plaza near West Farris Road in reference to a woman threatening others around 2:18 a.

The recently released footage appeared to show Jeffrey Schopp, 33, holding a firearm as he ran from police on Dec. 3.
