The Mumbai police arrested one more suspect in connection with the murder of veteran Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique on Friday. The accused was arrested from Punjab’s Ludhiana in a joint operation by Mumbai and Punjab police.

The Mumbai crime branch has made its 11th arrest in connection with the high-profile murder of NCP leader Baba Siddique, as ongoing investigations reveal links to armed gangs and elaborate cover-ups.

The Mumbai crime branch has arrested Amit Hisamsing Kumar, a 29-year-old bookie from Haryana, in connection with the Baba Siddique murder case. This marks the 11th arrest in the case. Kumar is a resident of Kaithal district in Haryana.

The investigation into the murder of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Baba Siddiqui has intensified, with the Mumbai Police confirming that the firearms used in the crime originated from Rajasthan.

Teams of the Mumbai Police were actively searching in Haryana for the alleged mastermind of Siddique's murder. Till now, the crime branch has arrested a total of 15 accused of which 10 are in judicial custody.
