The entire controversy stems from a stampede at a theatre in Hyderabad during screening of Pushpa 2 which was attended by the actor.

Representatives from the Telugu film industry including, Allu Aravind, Venkatesh Daggubati, Varun Tej and others will meet Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy today. This comes after the Chief Minister's dig at the industry in Allu Arjun stampede case.

Allu Arjun had announced Rs 1 crore as compensation while Pushpa director Sukumar and producers have contributed 50 lakhs each as a goodwill gesture to the boy who has been recovering. Allu Aravind visited the hospital on Wednesday and stated that he is pleased to know Sri Tej has been recovering.
