NFL football knockout, survivor pool picks, advice, strategy for Week 7, 2025: Avoid the Rams
The available Week 7 survivor pool teams has dwindled even further. Couple that with a number of upsets, including the Thursday night New York Giants win over the Philadelphia Eagles 34-17, and many survivor pool players' hopes are in tatters.
Week 7 will conclude with yet another Monday Night Football doubleheader. The Detroit Lions (4-2) will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-1) and the Seattle Seahawks (4-2) will host the Houston Texans (2-3). The Buffalo Bills (4-2) and Baltimore Ravens (1-5) are on a bye in Week 7, riding two- and four-game losing streaks, respectively.
On Sunday, the Lions fell 30-17 to the reigning AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs. With the loss, Detroit is now 4-2 and sits second in the NFC North. After their Week 5 dismantling of the Cincinnati Bengals, writers across the league recognized the Lions as the NFL’s top team.

Both Elic Ayomanor and Van Jefferson are desperation adds as we expect the Titans to be without Calvin Ridley. Ayomanor is the one who we are more excited about but Jefferson is the one who stepped into the Calvin Ridley role when Ridley went down last week. With a week to prepare I would expect more schemed up touches for Ayomanor.

Colin Cowherd lists his top teams entering Week 7 of the 2025/26 NFL season, including the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, Kansas City Chiefs, and Philadelphia Eagles.
Those two teams are the Chiefs and Packers, my Super Bowl prediction prior to the season. The Chiefs just got finished taking care of the Lions and holding Detroit under 100 rushing yards, the first to do so since the Packers in Week 1.
