UT Tyler Athletics has announced that Doug Karleskint has been named the next head coach of the UT Tyler men’s basketball program.

Doug Karleskint is set to lead UT Tyler's men's basketball team, drawing on his success at Abilene Christian University, where he boosted the program's visibility.

The Longhorns qualified for the tournament as one of the "Last Four In," and will play their first game on Tuesday.
