Travelers will soon be able to catch a nonstop Southwest Airlines flight from the Jacksonville International Airport to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

Southwest Airlines plans to offer new direct flights from Orlando to Los Angeles. The non-stop flights will travel from Orlando International Airport to LAX. Officials said the red-eye route will operate daily. Service begins Aug. 5.

Southwest Airlines plans to offer direct flights from Jacksonville to Austin, Texas, in October, joining Delta Air Lines, which will also fly direct to the Texas capital. The new batch of Jacksonville-Austin flights are scheduled to begin on Oct. 2 and will be available every day except Saturday.
