New GeForce Now members that sign up for the service from 2025 onward will have a cap on monthly playtime set at 100 hours. That works out to around three hours of usage every day of the month, and Nvidia says it’s putting the cap in place to avoid increasing membership prices “in the foreseeable future.”

Although this cap will initially apply only to new GeForce Now members, all current paid subscribers will see their unlimited playtime end on January 1, 2026.

Next year, everyone — including premium tier subscribers — will see monthly streaming time limited to 100 hours. For subscribers, that is quite a hefty number of hours but wipes out the unlimited playtime that has been available.

GeForce Now is Nvidia’s answer to cloud gaming and competes with Xbox Game Pass and perhaps Steam Remote Play as an offering that opens up access to triple AAA games to more players by making them accessible regardless of whether a player has high-end hardware.
