Two people on an ATV 4-wheeler died after they were struck by an Amtrak train Sunday evening in Rosedale, according to police.

Two people were fatally struck by an Amtrak train Sunday evening in the Rosedale area while riding four-wheelers on the tracks, according to Baltimore County officials.

Baltimore County police said two people who were riding an ATV have died after being hit by an Amtrak train in Baltimore County on Sunday night. According to police, at around 8:30 p.m., officers from the White Marsh precinct responded to Schafer’s Lane and CSX Railway 21237 for an accident involving an Amtrak train and a four-wheeler.

Amtrak services have delayed train operations between Wilmington and Baltimore following reports of four-wheeler being struck on the tracks.
