The last iteration of Wonder Woman was played by Gal Gadot and made her debut in 2017's Wonder Woman. She also appeared in the 2017 iteration of Justice League and the 2021 Zach Snyder cut. Gadot reprised the role in 2020's Wonder Woman 1984, which was unfortunately met with negative reviews.

Supergirl, which is helmed by Craig Gillespie and stars House of the Dragon ‘s Milly Alcock, reps Nogueira’s first produced screenplay and is based on Tom King’s graphic novel, Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow. The pic comes out June 26, 2026.

If true, this will be the third movie the actress and writer has penned for DC Studios. Nogueira has already written the "Supergirl" reboot for the studio, and was reportedly working on a live-action "Teen Titans" script as well.
