A person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press that the New York Jets traded wide receiver Mike Williams to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a fifth-round pick in next year’s draft.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are interested in trading for wide receivers Mike Williams and, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. Williams has long been a trade target for Pittsburgh, who inquired about him three weeks ago when the Jets first landed Davante Adams.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Steelers were in the process of trying to get a trade in place for Jaguars WR Christian Kirk. According to Schefter, there was a ‘reasonable chance” that Kirk was going to end up in Pittsburgh.
