Sifan Hassan returns to the London Marathon in 2025 as all four reigning Olympic and Paralympic marathon champions take to the streets of the capital in April.

Two years after Sifan Hassan raced to a memorable London Marathon victory after stopping twice to stretch her hip in a remarkable debut at the distance, the Dutch multi-distance phenomenon is back this year and excited to see what she can do.

Sifan Hassan won three medals at Paris 2024 and has now set out a fresh list of goals for the next four years beginning with April's London Marathon

Tola is one of a select group of athletes to have won world and Olympic titles at the marathon. The Ethiopian earned the world title in 2022 in a championship record of 2:05:36, then lifted the Olympic crown in Paris two years later in a Games record of 2:06:26.

Event organizers announced on Monday morning that Paris Olympic marathon champions Sifan Hassan and Tamirat Tola, along with Paralympic marathon champions Catherine Debrunner and Marcel Hug, will compete in the 2025 TCS London Marathon on April 27.

In fact, all four reigning Olympic and Paralympic marathon champions, including Hassan, will take on the world-famous race this April.
