It was a memorable night for FX as Shōgun and The Bear set new marks for most Emmys in a single competition cycle for drama and comedy series, respectively. The ceremony was hosted by father and son Eugene and Dan Levy, known for their Emmy-winning comedy series Schitt's Creek.

"Hacks" was the top comedy series at Sunday's Emmy Awards, topping "The Bear," which took home several of the night's honors.
