As the roster cuts loom, a CBS Sports writer is predicting the Houston Texans could land Minnesota Vikings running back Ty Chandler via trade.

A native of Birmingham, Ala., Collins was the second player drafted by Nick Caserio after he was hired as the Texans’ general manager. After selecting quarterback Davis Mills in the third round, Caserio traded up to select Collins with the 89th overall pick of the 2021 NFL draft.

The Texans have revamped their roster. So, who will make the 53-man roster and who won't survive roster cuts this year?

The NFL continues to reveal players in the yearly offseason "NFL Top 100." Three Arizona Cardinals players made the list, with linebacker Josh Sweat at No. 95, tight end Trey McBride at No. 65 and safety Budda Baker at No. 34, making the list for the sixth straight year. Several players the Cardinals will face in 2025 continue to be revealed.

Two more extremely popular Atlanta rappers, Young Thug and Gunna, are featured in the top 10, with Florida rapper Kodak Black ranked highly as well. The late Memphis rapper Young Dolph is still popular with the Texans. Interestingly, Dolph's cousin and protege KeyGolock is omitted from the list.

That being said, Houston's offensive line is still viewed as a major area of weakness for the team heading into 2025, as evidenced by the fact that quarterback C.J. Stroud was sacked 52 times in 2024. That certainly played a significant role in his sophomore slump.
